1Service Description
TinyOps is a policy enforcement platform designed for engineering teams. The platform enables you to define trigger-condition-action rules that operate across your development stack, including GitHub, Vercel, Supabase, Slack, and Email integrations.
Through these rules, TinyOps allows you to monitor your infrastructure, enforce team policies, and send automated notifications based on events in your connected services.
Write actions (such as PR comments, commit statuses, or redeployments) are performed only when you explicitly configure them in your rule definitions. TinyOps will never take write actions on your behalf without explicit configuration.
2Beta Status and Service Level
TinyOps is currently in beta. During this period, there is no uptime service level agreement (SLA). The service may experience downtime, interruptions, or degraded performance without prior notice.
Features, functionality, and the user interface may change substantially as we develop the platform. Data retention policies may also change, and we will provide reasonable notice before any such changes take effect.
Use of TinyOps in production environments is at your own risk. Should we decide to discontinue the service, we will provide reasonable notice to allow you to export your data and transition to alternative solutions.
3Account Registration and Security
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
You agree to notify TinyOps immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. Each individual may maintain only one account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that exhibit suspicious activity, contain fraudulent information, or violate these terms.
4Authentication and Integration Access
When you authenticate via GitHub OAuth, TinyOps requests access to your repositories within the scope you authorize. Token-based integrations (Vercel, Supabase, Slack) operate with user-controlled scopes that you define during setup.
TinyOps accesses your connected services only for the purpose of executing the rules you have configured. Write actions (such as posting PR comments or setting commit statuses) are performed only when you have explicitly configured rules to do so.
You may disconnect any integration at any time through your account settings. Upon disconnection, TinyOps will immediately cease accessing that service on your behalf.
5Acceptable Use
You agree to use TinyOps only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms. You must not:
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
- Send spam or unsolicited communications through TinyOps integrations
- Attempt to access data belonging to other users or organizations
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
- Use TinyOps for competitive analysis or to build a competing product
- Exceed published rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions
- Bypass or attempt to bypass security measures
- Configure rules that violate the terms of service of connected third-party platforms
6Data Handling and Security
All integration credentials and sensitive data are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. We enforce strict tenant isolation, ensuring that your data is never accessible to other users or organizations.
For comprehensive details on what data we collect, how we store it, and how we process it, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the data you connect to TinyOps through your integrations, including ensuring you have appropriate authorization to access and process that data through automated rules.
7Intellectual Property
The TinyOps platform, including its software, design, documentation, and brand assets, is owned by TinyOps and protected by intellectual property laws.
Your data: You retain all rights to the data you upload or connect to TinyOps. We claim no ownership over your data.
Rule configurations: You own the rule configurations you create within TinyOps. These are your intellectual property.
Feedback: If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the service, we may use them without obligation to you.
No license is granted to you beyond what is necessary for your use of the service as described in these terms.
8Payment and Billing
TinyOps offers a free tier with limited functionality. Paid plans are available on monthly or annual billing cycles, processed through Stripe.
Prices may change with at least 30 days advance notice. Existing billing cycles will not be affected until their next renewal date.
In the event of a failed payment, we will retry the charge and notify you. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, your account may be downgraded to the free tier.
Partial refunds are not provided unless required by applicable law. If you exceed the limits of your plan, we will throttle service or prompt you to upgrade. We will never silently fail or drop rule executions without notification.
9Limitation of Liability
TinyOps is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
TinyOps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of the cause of action.
We are not responsible for damages resulting from actions taken by rules you have configured, outages or changes to third-party services, or any consequences of using TinyOps in production environments.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to TinyOps in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. You are responsible for thoroughly testing rules before deploying them in production environments.
10Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TinyOps, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the service
- Rules you configure and their resulting actions
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of any rights of a third party
11Account Termination
By you: You may delete your account at any time via email or self-service (when available). Upon deletion, your data will be removed according to our data retention schedule.
By TinyOps: We may terminate or suspend your account for any of the following reasons:
- Violation of these terms of service
- Non-payment of fees after reasonable notice
- Account inactivity exceeding 12 months
- Legal or regulatory requirements
- Service discontinuation
We will provide reasonable notice before termination, except in cases of severe violations that pose immediate risk to the service or other users.
Upon termination, your access to the service ceases immediately and your data will be deleted according to our retention schedule. You may request a data export prior to termination taking effect.
12Service Modifications
We may modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time. For material changes that significantly affect your use of the platform, we will provide at least 30 days notice via email or in-app notification.
Your continued use of TinyOps after modifications take effect constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you disagree with any modifications, your remedy is to terminate your account.
13Third-Party Services
TinyOps integrates with third-party services including GitHub, Vercel, Supabase, and Slack. We are not responsible for the availability, uptime, or changes to these third-party platforms.
Your use of connected third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. If a third-party API changes or becomes unavailable, certain TinyOps features may be temporarily unavailable until we update our integration.
14Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt good-faith negotiation for a period of thirty (30) days. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
Claims eligible for small claims court may be brought there instead. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
For any disputes not subject to arbitration, the state and federal courts located in Delaware shall have exclusive venue and jurisdiction.
15General Provisions
Entire agreement: These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TinyOps regarding your use of the service.
Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
Assignment: TinyOps may assign or transfer these terms without restriction. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.
Force majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, or sustained infrastructure failures.
Notices: We will send notices to the email address associated with your account. You are responsible for keeping your email address up to date.
